Veg Momos:
Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup water
1 cup finely chopped vegetables (cabbage, carrots, beans, bell peppers)
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon minced ginger
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
Salt to taste
In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and water to form a smooth dough. Cover it and let it rest for 30 minutes.
In another bowl, mix together the finely chopped vegetables, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, and salt.
Divide the dough into small equal parts and roll them out into thin circles.
Take each circle and place a spoonful of vegetable mixture in the center. Bring the edges of the circle together and pleat to seal the edges.
Steam the momos for 8-10 minutes in a steamer or a momo maker. Serve hot with tomato sauce or chili sauce.
